Resign? No thanks

Mitch Daniels, Indiana’s new governor seems to have some concrete ideas about changing the state government. First, though, he wants to clear out some folks in state government and start with a cleaner slate. He recently announced that he would like members on Indiana’s Commission for Higher Education to resign. Former Richmond Mayor Byron Klute announced that he would not step aside:

“I don’t think that is good policy at all,” Klute said. “For someone who is brilliant and put in all kinds of hours, why would you ask that?”
