Aids task force investigation stalled

The criminal investigation into the events that led to the closing of Aids Task Force of Central Indiana, a non-profit organization that provided assistance to HIV positive people, and those suffering from AIDS, is stalled because no one has paid for the audit. The audit was ordered by the Indiana State Board of Accounts, and completed by a local accounting firm, but when the taskforce shut down, it apparently had no money to pay the firm for the audit.

The Wayne County Prosecutor’s office claims the results of the audit are needed to determine if criminal activity contributed to the task force’s woes.
