Drylabbing
From the ever productive laboratory of the Houston Police Department, we (I, at least) learn a new term: Drylabbing: Concocting results without conducting analyses.
The term comes up in the context of a new independent investigator’s report on the troubled lab. 75% of the labs work is testing drugs, and apparently, on multiple occasions, the lab just produced documents confirming that the “drugs” were drugs, without subjecting the substances to any analysis.
