Picture the Future: Randolph County
Well some folks living up in Randolph County sat down with a county map and mapped out all the new and existing CAFO’s in the county. The result is a little depressing. Each CAFO is drawn in in red in the picture of the map below. The blue represents a 1 mile radius from the boundaries of the CAFO’s. To get a sense of scale, the squares Mon the map are sections, so each line is 1 mile apart. The CAFO at the bottom of the map is actually in Wayne County:
