Reality (cough . . . cough) Check?
A couple of items in today’s Pal-Item look like wishful thinking to me:
EDC: Kelsie’s Dairy still coming: Remember, this was the Big News announced by EDC ex-president Don Holbrook just before he was "forced out" over questions about his spending. I have talked about this before. Today’s article notes that while the company’s president, Ray Whitmore, continues to stay in touch with the EDC, the company’s website (www.kelsiesfoods.com) is no longer functioning.
Belden says new plant in Mexico won’t affect Richmond. Yeah right. Belden will be shutting down 2 other plants in the US (one in Kentucky & one in So. Carolina). This is Belden’s third plant in Mexico.

The EDC must think that the taxpayers of Wayne County are complete and utter idiots.
